Clive worked in central government for many years before leaving to set up Radio Verulam, the Community Radio station in St Albans in 2005. He is Founder and Director of Radio Verulam, and of RAIFA, the local town-twinning organisation which has links with Germany, France and Hungary.
Clive has lived in Radlett for over 30 years and is married to Jackie, a practice nurse working in St Albans. They have two children, one at secondary school in St Albans and one now at university.
Sara had a successful career in IT recruitment before retraining to become a teacher.
She has been teaching since 2004 and is head of the modern languages faculty in her current school. Sara has a passion for innovative curriculum design and as a key contributor to the Free School proposal, she brings a desire to challenge the status quo of an education system which she believes was designed to meet the needs of the 19th century industrial revolution.
Sara is married to Luke, a Resource Manager and lives in Hemel Hempstead with their daughter, Beatrice, and son Oscar.
Nick has spent the last 16 years in the world of professional services recruitment, running a Division of a large recruitment business focused on Accounting, Marketing and Project Management Staffing before launching his own company Stanton House in late 2010. Nick and his business partner now run a small but growing recruitment business with 20 employees and are proud to be creating jobs in the midst of the current economic challenges.
Nick and his wife Emma moved to Radlett in 2007 and have three boys, one at secondary and two at a local primary school.
